Join us for a casual evening of connection and one-on-one conversations about the schools focus on student support, community impact, and priorities of the newly appointed Denise Taliaferro Baszile. Guests will also learn about the schools groundbreaking collaborative efforts to address health and wellness.

A proud Detroit native, Taliaferro Baszile views her new role as an exciting opportunity to return home. She was drawn to Wayne State because of its diverse culture, research opportunities and connections with the city. 

This event will be held in the historic Tierney Alumni House and is open to College of Education alumni, faculty and staff. Food and drinks will be provided.
