Abstract: John Martinis recently conjectured that quantum computers can be efficiently classically simulated with errors approximately a few percent , prompting some results in this area . I'll demonstrate one technique in which we numerically know the conjecture is true for certain circuits. The technique decomposes noisy channels in such a way as to weaken entanglement in a matrix product state.
