Research Town Hall: Institute of Gerontology
1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
The Office of the Vice President for Research at Wayne State University is pleased to host a series of research town halls to provide the research community with updates and information about the resources available on campus, as well as to connect our faculty with potential collaborative opportunities, particularly in our research centers and institutes and core technology labs.
On October 9, 2023, Dr. Peter Lichtenberg, director of the Institute of Gerontology (IOG) will introduce the interdisciplinary research of IOG, its pre- and post-doctoral research training program, and its community engagement efforts. In addition, he will discuss upcoming campus-wide funding opportunities through the Michigan Alzheimer's Disease Research Center and the Michigan Center for Urban African American Aging Research - both NIH P30 Center grants that Wayne State is a member of.
The town hall will take place virtually. Registrants will receive the Zoom link information a few days prior to October 9th.
We look forward to seeing you at this interesting and important Town Hall with Dr. Lichtenberg!
