Are you thinking about graduate work in anthropology? You are invited to our online Anthropology Graduate Open House! You’ll have an opportunity to meet Wayne State’s anthropology faculty and students, learn more about our programs and specialties, ask about our application processes, and even get started right away on your application!
At Wayne State, we're eagerly recruiting applicants for our M.A. and Ph.D. programs, as well as our joint Social Work and Anthropology (SWAN) doctoral program and the Graduate Certificate in Museum Practice. We are located in midtown Detroit, Michigan, near dozens of community organizations, museums, and cultural institutions, including our own Grosscup Museum of Anthropology. Our program is integrative across subfields, with a commitment to partnerships with local communities as well as a global reach.
