Employee Engagement Group Meet and Greet
This event is in the past.
Noon to 2 p.m.
Did you know that Wayne State has several Employee Engagement Groups (EEGs) under the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion? We invite you to join us for lunch. We're offering a multicultural smörgåsbord of sabor. Sample foods from various cultures and learn how you can get involved, network, support and find resources from Employee Engagement Groups:
Between bites consider the benefits of joining an EEG:
Foster creativity and connection. As a member of an EEG you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to discussions and projects that fall outside of your typical job responsibilities with potential to pursue meaningful work while developing new skills and learning to work with colleagues from other departments.
Enhance confidence and skill sets. Your EEG may allow you to contribute in ways your current role or level does not. Think about the skills and experience you’d like to add to your resume.
EEG membership increases the likelihood that you’ll have opportunities to connect with others who share similar backgrounds and interests. Having a strong sense of community fosters belonging, which in turn, promotes engagement.
