Transfer Success and Recognition Summit

Join us for this inaugural Transfer Success and Recognition Summit for community college counselors, advisors, faculty and leaders. This interactive event will focus on transfer success strategies that support students in completing their degrees and prepare them to launch their careers. 

The event will also highlight and celebrate student success initiatives and leaders at Wayne State University and our college partners that are making a difference in our students’ academic and learning journeys.

Agenda highlights:  

• Discover why Wayne State is the No. 1 transfer destination for community college students. 
• Learn from leaders, including Wayne State University President Kimberly Andrews Espy, Ph.D., about WSU’s vision, student success initiatives, and focus on supporting the economic and social prosperity of our students.
• Participate in workshops and discussions on topics including Transfer Pathways, advising, alternative admissions, DEI, and mental health and wellness.
• Celebrate and recognize Transfer Champions.  

The event starts at 8:30 a.m. with a continental breakfast and networking. Lunch will be provided, and parking is free.    

We will be providing complimentary parking in Parking Structure 5 (5501 Anthony Wayne Drive Detroit, MI, 48202).
