Join us for an information session to learn about the School of Information Sciences' student organizations.

Tori Robinson, diversity outreach graduate student assistant and president of FLID (Future Librarians for Inclusivity & Diversity), along with SIS faculty and staff will introduce current and prospective students to the organizations and how you can get involved for as little as one hour per month.

Current SIS student organizations:

  • American Library Association (ALA)
  • Future Librarians for Inclusivity & Diversity (FLID)
  • National Digital Stewardship Alliance (NDSA)
  • Society of American Archivists (SAA)
  • The Information Warrior Journal

Our organizations offer one-hour virtual meetings each month where you'll get to meet and network with your fellow students, hear from alumni speakers, receive free membership to national professional organizations, build your resume and more!

We hope to see you on Tuesday, Dec. 12!
