The Wayne State University School of Social Work invites our faculty, staff, and PhD students to join us for some food, fun, music, and games at our 2023 Holiday Party. This will also be the opportunity for you to pick up your holiday gift. 

As this is the season of giving, we are encouraging our Social Work Family to support the following organization. 

• Alternatives for Girls is an organization that helps women and girls who are housing insecure through crisis response, providing a safe shelter, access to programming and resources, and more. It is acknowledged that women and girls who are housing insecure have an increased likelihood of being trafficked or victimized, and Alternatives for Girls is on a mission to divert women from those circumstances. Olivia Cessna will be collecting donations to support their programing until December 11, 2023 via the following:
