In this presentation, Dr. Aryn Dotterer will discuss the concept of parental microprotections, present findings on a measure to assess parental microprotections, and present empirical evidence on the effectiveness of parental microprotections as a strategy to mitigate the negative effects of discrimination and promote positive adjustment and wellbeing among adolescents.
