The Detroit Tri-County Social Work Health Career Opportunity Academy (The Academy) is recruiting junior and senior BSW students for The Ambassadors Program. This training program is set to begin January 2024 and is seeking applicants. The selected participants will receive a $2,100 scholarship and a $2,100 stipend. Students will have the opportunity to participate in self-guided learning activities, seminars, clinical training opportunities, case management, and mentorship. The goal of the program is to prepare BSW junior/senior students to provide culturally responsive health care practices in underserved communities.

The application and information about eligibility can be found on our website. On December 19, 2023 from 3 - 4 pm and January 3, 2024 from 12 - 1 pm we will be hosting virtual informational sessions to share more about the program and answer any application or program questions. 

Applications will close January 5, 2023 at 12pm.
