Lunches with Leaders Dr. Bob Pettapiece

Honors students are invited to participate in this ongoing lunch series that connects students with leaders from campus and the community. Please join us on Tuesday, January 23 at 12 noon for a conversation with the Dr. Bob Pettapiece, the sponsor for the Lunches with Leaders series.
Dr. Bob Pettapiece, Ed. D., earned two Bachelor of Arts degrees from Michigan State University, one majoring in the humanities and the second in religion. He went on to obtain his Master’s, Specialist and Doctorate of Education from WSU’s College of Education where he specialized in General Secondary Education and Social Studies Education for his doctorate. Dr. Pettapiece taught in Detroit Public Schools for 29 years and at WSU in the College of Education until he retired in 2016. Dr. Pettapiece grew up in Royal Oak and moved to Detroit in 1967. As a passionate supporter of education at Wayne State, he is also our generous Lunches with Leaders sponsor.
Students are asked to RSVP in advance for the event.
The event is held at the Honors College, 2100 UGL.
