Join the CSGE for this pop-up Brown Bag to celebrate Valentine's Day with international fairytales. In this session, Professor of French Anne Duggan will present the different types of Cinderella tales from Italy, France, Germany, the Czech Republic, and Scandinavia. We will see that passive Cinderellas were not always the rule and many spunky Cinderellas were quite capable of protecting themselves and negotiating their own marriages. They wait for no prince!

Bring your partner, friends, or classmates. All students are welcome. Light snack will be provided.
