The Wayne State University Department of Communication invites you to our upcoming undergraduate Showcase on Thursday, March 7, 2024, from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Join us for an inside look at the programs and organizations offered in Communication. You will have the opportunity to hear from current students and recent alumni, talk to faculty and staff, and attend mini-program sessions of your choice.
The Department of Communication offers majors in Communication Studies, Film, Journalism, Media Arts and Studies and Public Relations. The department also houses the nationally renowned WSU Debate and Forensics team and Journalism Institute for Media Diversity. Students who are undecided about their major can choose our Exploratory Communication Arts track for up to 30 credits before declaring a major.
Student Organization representatives from The South End student newspaper, Film and Media Group, WAYN Radio, Public Relations Student Society of America, Lambda Pi Eta, and Society of Professional Journalists will be on hand as well.
