The Society for American Music is pleased to present the 2024 Vivian Perlis Concert, the headline performance of its annual international conference, hosted this year by Wayne State University's Department of Music. Titled "An American Voice," this performance features WSU students and faculty performing works of American music in celebration of the 2024 Honorary Member of the society, WSU alumnus and groundbreaking singer, George Shirley.
