Free biometric screening for students
The Campus Health Center is offering free biometric screening to students, $25 for faculty and staff.
Biometric screening includes a cholesterol, triglycerides, and glucose panel. You can also get a blood pressure reading which is free to everyone.
Biometric screening will be offered at Campus Health Center, from 10a-12:30p, on the dates listed below. To expedite, we recommend you schedule an appointment, but walk-ins are also welcome. Schedule here.

- What does biometric screening include? Biometric screening includes a cholesterol, triglyceride, and glucose panel, plus a blood pressure check.
- Can I just get my blood pressure checked? Yes, a blood pressure check ONLY is free for everyone.
- How long is a biometric screening appointment? It should take 15 minutes, not including registration. Blood pressure check ONLY will be shorter.
- Do I need an appointment? An appointment is recommended, but we will take walk-ins as the schedule allow
- When do I get results? Results will be available right away.
- What does the biometric screening entail? It is a blood test and requires a finger poke for a tiny amount of blood. For the most accurate results, fasting is recommended, but not required.
- Why is biometric screening important? It is a good idea to get your biometric baseline so you can detect changes early. The results can help you prevent chronic conditions such as heart disease, stroke, and diabetes
- Will someone help me understand the results? Yes, a nursing student will be there to consult with you about your results and answer questions.
- What do I need to bring to the appointment? Bring a photo ID, your OneCard, and $25 if you are faculty or staff. Payment is due at the time of service.
