Planetarium staff will be on hand during these hours to hand out eclipse glasses.  We are asking for a minimum $1 donation per pair, with no more than 10 pairs of glasses per patron.  We can only accept cash.

The solar eclipse will be on Monday April 8th!  Detroit will have 99% coverage and those of you seeking totality can head south to Toledo and beyond to experience a total solar eclipse.  You will need eye protection in both locations except for the brief period of totality if you are in Ohio.
