3 to 3:45 p.m.: Thematic sessions on general introduction to the Department of Defense; and Federal Opportunities for Social Sciences & Humanities Researchers
The Office of the Vice President for Research is hosting a faculty session with Lewis-Burke Associates, the firm that will assist building Wayne State’s federal strategies and engagement. This visit will give our faculty an opportunity to learn more about Lewis-Burke to advance the success and visibility of our research with national decision makers, as well as strategically align research efforts to be competitive for future funding opportunities.
Please join us on Thursday, April 11 for a university-wide faculty town hall at McGregor Memorial Conference Center. From 1 to 2:00 p.m., we will host a general session that will give our faculty community a good understanding of Lewis-Burke, followed by a session from 2 to 2:45 p.m. to discuss regional innovation and workforce development.
Following the 2:00 p.m. session, we will host two thematic sessions from 3 to 3:45 p.m. focused on the following:
- General introduction to Department of Defense Research
- Federal Opportunities for Social Sciences & Humanities researchers
