The Wayne State School of Medicine's Office of Graduate Medical Education and Ascension Providence Rochester Hospital will host the 13th Annual Quality Improvement Research Day as a Zoom event. Residents in the Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Family Medicine-Urban Track, and Transitional Year programs will present their 2023-24 QI research projects. A panel of three judges will determine the best presentations.
The QI Research Day keynote speaker will be Jeffrey Kline, M.D., professor and associate chair of research in the WSU School of Medicine's Department of Emergency Medicine. Our judges include Brigette Lorenz, M.D., clinical assistant professor in the WSU School of Medicine and vice chief of the Dept. of Obstetrics/Gynecology at Ascension Providence Rochester Hospital; Sean McCormick, M.D., assistant director of the Emergency Medicine Residency Program in the WSU School of Medicine; and Michael Twiner, M.D., Ph.D., clinical assistant professor in the WSU School of Medicine's Dept. of Emergency Medicine.
The Wayne State University community is invited to attend free of charge, but please send an RSVP. The Zoom log-in information and event schedule will be sent to all registrants a week in advance of the event.
