Objectives:

1. Identify challenges related to the clinical diagnosis of attention-deficit hypreactivity disorder when co-morbid with substance use disorder.
2. Outline pharmacotherapy and behavioral interventions used to treat individuals with co-occurring disorders.
3. Analyze the risk of untreated attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder and the development of future substance use.
