The Detroit Tri-County Social Work Health Career Opportunity Academy (The Academy) is recruiting junior and senior BSW students for The Ambassadors Program. This training program is set to begin September 2024 and is seeking applicants. The selected participants will receive a $2,100 scholarship and a $2,100 stipend. Students will have the opportunity to participate in self-guided learning activities, seminars, clinical training opportunities, case management, and mentorship. The goal of the program is to prepare BSW junior/senior students to provide culturally responsive health care practices in underserved communities.
