Open Information Sessions

Join the College of Nursing and meet with academic advisors and directors of the undergraduate and graduate programs. We will hold information sessions each hour to help students learn about the various pathways that the College of Nursing offers. Students will have an opportunity to engage with faculty and current College of Nursing students while learning about the prerequisite requirements to gain admission to the Wayne State Nursing programs. We will have snacks and giveaways for all guests!

• 10 a.m. — Graduate Programs (MSN, DNP, PhD and Graduate Certificates) – Room 13
• 10:30 a.m. — Direct Admit BSN pathway – Room 15
• 11:30 a.m. — Second Degree/Second Career pathway – Room 13
• 11:30 a.m. — RN to BSN pathway – Room 15
• 12:30 p.m. — Veteran BSN pathway – Room 13
• 12:30 p.m. — Traditional BSN pathway – Room 15

21st Century Innovations in Education: Nursing's Use of Technology

Join the College of Nursing as we highlight innovations in nursing education. Students will have an opportunity to engage in hands-on activities with the college's Simulation Laboratory staff and our high-fidelity mannequins, virtual reality programs and clinical based robots. The C2 Pipeline program will also be on site providing students with a glimpse of zSpace AR/VR devices, which incorporate the latest user experience technologies providing a new way of learning in a lifelike, virtual environment. We will have snacks and giveaways for all guests!
