Come join us for a community screening of Agnes Varda's moving film The Gleaners and I (2000), to be followed by an open discussion that is part of Green Street: Sustainability in Higher Education month. The screening is supported by the Irvin D. Reid Honors College.
Schedule of events (join for some or all):
5:30 p.m.: Come early to enjoy a slice of pizza (Undergraduate Library Atrium). In the spirit of Sustainability in Higher Ed Month, please BYO water bottle!
6:00 p.m.: Film screening begins in Bernath Auditorium.
7:30 p.m.: Film discussion featuring university and community partners, including:
- Dr. Alina Cherry, Associate Professor of French, Department of Classical and Modern Languages, Literatures, and Cultures
- Matt Piper, Communications and Operations Lead, The Green Garage
- Qing Tiffany, Community Engagement Director, Make Food Not Waste
