Searching for the nature of dark matter with cosmic-ray and gamma-ray observations in the Milky Way.

Abstract:

Dark matter accounts for about 23% of the energy budget of the universe. However its nature still remains a mystery.
I will discuss how we use high-energy astrophysical observations to probe the nature of dark matter.
In recent years certain intriguing results have been published suggesting that dark matter detection may be feasible in the next decade.
Those include gamma-ray observations of the central part of our galaxy and antimatter cosmic-ray measurements.
