Young Astronomers Planetarium Show
This event is in the past.
11 a.m. to noon
Families please join us at the planetarium for our monthly young astronomers show. Geared towards the 4-8 year old crowd, these shows take a look at the current night sky and the solar system, and include a showing of the movie Polaris, the Space Submarine and the Mystery of the Polar Night, where we join a penguin and a polar bear to learn why night and day are each six months long at the North and South Pole!
Young Astronomers is a free family event. Children must attend with a guardian.
Seating is limited to 60 people, so please RSVP here on the events calendar and let us know how many people will be attending in your group. Group size is capped at 5 people so many families can attend.
Walk ins are welcome so long as space is available.
Young astronomers shows are held approximately once per month at the Wayne State University Planetarium.
