Year of Focus: Intercultural Conflict Styles: Understanding Ourselves and Others
4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Our cultural backgrounds shape how we communicate, especially in moments of conflict. This highly interactive workshop offers participants the chance to complete the Intercultural Conflict Style Inventory (ICS), an 18-question, cross-culturally validated assessment that evaluates individual approaches to communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution. Following the assessment, participants will engage in meaningful dialogue to explore and navigate our diverse conflict styles.
Food will be provided. Space is limited and RSVPs are required. This workshop is hosted in partnership with the Office of Inclusive Excellence and will be facilitated by Dr. Alex Boesch, Director of Educational and Strategic Initiatives.
This event is open to students.
