Brunch and Brainstorm with the College of Education
9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
The Educational Leadership & Policy Studies Program works to provide the highest quality programs for our students. We are beginning a new Doctor of Education program focusing on Central Office Administration for students interested in positions as superintendents, assistant superintendents, and other roles at the Central Office level.
As a Wayne State University Alumni, we value your input. Join us for brunch and a discussion session as we bring together superintendents and administrators from across the region to engage in meaningful dialogue. This event will allow current and retired superintendents and administrators to share insights, experiences, and innovative ideas that will shape the program's direction. Discussion topics will include course offerings, advising, career planning, etc. We hope you will join us as we work to strengthen our programs.
Questions that may be asked:
- What information do you need to be a successful central office administrator?
- What coursework would you find helpful to be added to the program?
- As a professional, what do you wish you would have been taught as a student?
Your voice as an alumnus is essential in shaping the direction of our programs and initiatives, and we look forward to hearing your thoughts.
