Wondering what you can do with your history degree?

Join the Department of History for a discussion with alumnus Andrew Hntow, PhD on careers in publishing.

Andrew Hntow, PhD, is a print and online publications editor for a research center at The University of Texas at Austin. He received his PhD in history in 2018 from Wayne State University, where his advisor was Elizabeth Faue.

Andrew was a WSU humanities clinic intern at Wayne State University Press from 2017-2018 and afterwards worked in the acquisitions department of the University of Texas Press. He also runs a freelance indexing and developmental editing service for scholarly titles and recently agreed to provide fact-checking and proofreading for Historic New England magazine.
