Overview: This session aims to equip early career faculty members with practical strategies and techniques for effectively engaging community members in their research. By the end of the session, faculty will understand the importance of community involvement, how to identify potential community partners in Detroit, and ways to foster meaningful and sustainable collaborations. Faculty will also hear from a community partner, who will discuss their experience collaborating with university researchers.
