PLEASANT RIDGE, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) invites the public to provide their input on the M-1 (Woodward Avenue) Corridor Plan between Adams Avenue in downtown Detroit and the Woodward Loop in Pontiac. MDOT’s planned in-person and virtual open houses will offer detailed information on collected transportation data, corridor safety reports, previous municipal plans, and the opportunity to provide feedback.

Plan information:
The M-1 corridor plan is intended to establish a comprehensive vision that balances the needs of all transportation users to provide a strategic approach for future investments. This plan analyzes operational and safety needs for future project prioritization. The plan outlines potential improvements on Woodward Avenue that considers environmental, historic preservation and economic goals.
