The Center for Urban Responses to Environmental Stressors (CURES) and the Healthier Black Elders Center invite you to join them in addressing Detroit's digital divide and enhancing research engagement! This virtual event will showcase strategies to overcome technological barriers to research participation and provide resources for making research more accessible. Whether you're a tech-savvy researcher who wants to learn how to increase virtual engagement with participants, or a resident who wants to learn about engaging on-line and virtually, this session will offer valuable insights for all.

Highlights include:

  • Presentations on digital inclusion and evolving tools including AI
  • Testimonials about experiences using a newly created Age-friendly Technology Toolkit for virtual involvement including with research  
  • Access to a nine-module research readiness curriculum 
  • Resources for research capacity building and community involvement
