The Wayne County Medical Society Virtual Health Conference, a gathering aimed at fostering a healthier community and enhancing understanding of the crucial health issues facing the county, will feature special guest Natasha Bagdasarian, M.D., M.P.H., chief medical executive for the State of Michigan.

The virtual conference will provide discussion of the 10 leading causes of death in Wayne County, and will feature presentations by Latonya Riddle-Jones, M.D.; Claudia Richardson, M.D., of the Detroit Health Department, Avani Sheth, M.D., of the Wayne County Health Department; Ijeoma Nnodim Opara, M.D., and James Blessman, M.D.

The conference will conclude with a question-and-answer session to explore interventions that can enhance the quality of life for all residents in Wayne County.
