Women's History Month
All Day
March is Women’s History Month, a time to honor the achievements, resilience, and leadership of women throughout history and today. International Women’s Day, celebrated on March 8, is a powerful reminder of the progress made toward gender equity and the work that still lies ahead. At Wayne State University, the Commission on the Status of Women (COSW) is committed to advocating for policies and initiatives that empower women in all aspects of life—academically, professionally, and personally. This month, we recognize the impact of women at WSU and worldwide who are breaking barriers, advancing equity, and creating opportunities for future generations. Through advocacy, education, and community-building, we stand in solidarity with women globally, championing progress toward a more inclusive and equitable society.
