MSW Information Session - NB
Social Workers use advocacy, education, intervention, research, policy, and organizational changes to enhance individual well-being and meet the basic needs of individuals and their communities. Social Workers are able to utilize their skills and knowledge in a variety of settings including mental health clinics, schools, child welfare and human service agencies, hospitals, community organizations, the criminal justice system, and private practices.
The Wayne State University MSW program prepares world-class practitioners committed to achieving social and economic justice, assisting vulnerable or oppressed individuals, and to improving the lives of individuals, families, groups and communities.
Potential applicants are strongly encouraged to attend an informational session prior to applying to the MSW program. At the Zoom meeting, we will cover in detail the program, careers, concentrations, application process, curriculum and so much more.
