Night of Ideas returns to Detroit for an exchange that strengthens the power of individuals whose freedoms to be, and act are hampered by various forms of inequality. Join us as we explore the links between freedom and capacity for action. Timothée Valentin (Women's Activisim in Guadeloupean Worker's Moveents), Audrey Viguier (on revolutionary writer Olympe de Gouges), Jolene Vos-Camy (on Charlotte Rose de la Force), Alina Cherry (The Writer in Times of Crisis) and Cara Young (painting exhibition) will present examples of real events from across the world. Moderated by Mohammed (Mo) Omari, President of l’Alliance Française de Detroit.
