The power of playing to your strengths: Transferable leadership lessons from a first-time interim university director during Covid-19 The COVID-19 pandemic presented unprecedented obstacles, particularly for an interim director who was new to the position. This session investigates the ways in which the utilization of CliftonStrengths facilitated the successful navigation of intricate situations, the development of resilience, and the effective demonstration of leadership during a crisis and beyond. The speaker transformed uncertainty into an opportunity by identifying and leveraging personal strengths, thereby promoting strategic decision-making, team collaboration, adaptability, and innovation. Regardless of their position, participants will acquire a deeper understanding of how to identify and leverage their own talents to improve their leadership abilities regardless of their position in the organization. The session emphasizes the value of a strengths-based approach in transforming challenges into development in any professional environment, providing practical, transferable lessons on thriving in the workplace. Prior to us, coming together for an engaging and energizing session, strongly consider setting aside 20-minutes to take the free, alternative to the CliftonStrengths Finder assessment, the HIGH 5 TEST.
