Day of Service at Forgotten Harvest
12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Graduate students are invited to spend a few hours volunteering at one of Michigan’s premier food banks, Forgotten Harvest. Volunteers will work together in a warehouse environment to pack and distribute food for families in need. You will also get a tour of Forgotten Harvest to learn more about how the organization works to help the community.
Since this is the Graduate School’s first day of community service, we have a limited number of volunteer spots available. All attendees must pre-register by Tuesday, April 1. While walk-ups will be accepted, our assignments will be planned ahead of time.
If you would like to attend but do not have transportation to Forgotten Harvest, please reach out to Nick Mattar at nmattar@wayne.edu and we will help you out.
