The National Forensic Association (NFA) is an organization dedicated to promoting excellence in individual speech events and debate at the collegiate level.  Wayne State is excited to host their 2025 national tournament, which is one of the largest speech/debate tournaments in the country drawing hundreds of students from colleges across country. The students compete in various speech categories like poetry, prose, impromptu, extemporaneous, persuasion, and Lincoln-Douglas debate, with the goal of determining the best speakers in the country based on their performances across the different events.
