Therapeutic Horticulture in Social Work

The Wayne State University School of Social Work Office of Continuing Education invites you to join them for "Therapeutic Horticulture in Social Work" presented by Carrie McCann, MSW, RYT, Certificate in Horticultural Therapy, Founder of Moonset & Co. Therapeutic horticulture is the purposeful use of plants and gardening activities to promote well-being and improve the quality of life for individuals. In this interactive workshop, we will explore the many benefits of engaging with nature and explore the practical applications for social workers. Whether you are new to therapeutic horticulture or looking to deepen your understanding, this presentation will provide insights and tools to integrate this holistic approach into your practice, both for yourself and for your clients.
CONTINUING EDUCATION: Three (3) Social Work CE's are available to attendees for FREE. Pre-registration for CE's is required via the RSVP form. All virtual attendees seeking CE's must sign-in via the link posted to the chat and stay for the full event duration. All in-person attendees seeking CE's must sign-in at the event and stay for the full event duration.
