The faculty of the Wayne State Graduate Programs in Public Administration cordially invite you to join us for the 2025 Lent Upson Forum and Reception.

This will take place in the Wayne State University Student Center, Hilberry A&B, 5221 Gullen Mall. See https://maps.wayne.edu/view/student-center for directions.

The event begins at 5:30 pm with a panel discussion titled " Water, Water, Everywhere: Metro Detroit's Struggle to Address Flooding”. A panel of distinguished guests will discuss the various flood-related problems facing Detroit and what public administrators are doing about it. Professor Kristin Taylor will be the moderator. After the panel, guests will move next door for a networking reception and a brief awards recognition program. We will be honoring Professor John Strate, inducting members into Pi Alpha Alpha (the public administration honor society), and awarding some scholarships. Hors d'oeuvres and drinks will be served.

This is a great opportunity to learn and to connect with MPA students, alumni, and friends. All are welcome. We hope to see you there!
