Prerequisite: Completion of the 3-hour initial training course.
This refresher training is required annually for individuals who may be likely to encounter the release of a hazardous substance and will be responsible for notifying emergency personnel. At this level, individuals are not permitted to clean up/control hazardous spills. Their role upon the discovery of a release is to identify hazardous events, notify, and evacuate the area.
