The Division of Research & Innovation (DORI) is launching a monthly Research Lunch and Learn series focused on various research topics, tools, best practices and important updates for Wayne State University faculty.

Our first event will be on June 12, 2025 from 12 noon to 1 p.m. in 5057 Woodward, 6th floor, conference room A. The topic will focus on Strategies for Finding Research Funding. (Original topic SBIR/STTR will be rescheduled.)

DORI’s Research Development team will be covering tools, tips, and best practices for finding opportunities and building a research roadmap. We’ll also discuss finding funding in a shifting federal research landscape. There will be ample time for questions.

This is an in-person event, and it will not be recorded. Registration is required by June 5th and is limited. A light lunch and refreshments will be served. Future Research Lunch & Learn sessions will be held on the second Thursday of the month from 12 to 1 p.m., and topics will be announced soon.
