Implicit biases affect our unconscious thinking and decision-making, and it's an individual's responsibility to unearth and mitigate biases before they affect others. This interactive, two-hour Zoom workshop, designed for healthcare professionals and students provides an opportunity for deep self-exploration as well as tools to mitigate biases.

As of June 1, 2022 the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) requires implicit bias training for healthcare professionals. This event fulfills that requirement up to 2 hours.

These workshops are facilitated by Alex Boesch, PhD in WSU's Office of Inclusive Excellence.
