BFSA Black Table Talk: Self-Care for the Caretakers
This event is in the past.
Noon to 1 p.m.
Caretakers often pour into others while leaving little room for themselves. This informal conversation centers on wellness practices, boundaries, and resources to help caregivers prioritize their own needs without guilt. This is a space to listen and be heard.
The Virtual Black Table Talk series, hosted by the Black Faculty and Staff Association (BFSA), creates a welcoming space for connection, dialogue, and support. These monthly conversations explore topics that impact both personal and professional life—from navigating new beginnings at WSU, balancing work and school, and processing the current political climate, to finding sustainable practices for self-care. Each session is designed to foster community, share strategies, and provide encouragement as we move through the academic year together. All BFSA events are open to all WSU employees.
