Transitioning from student to social worker can be a challenging phase, especially considering today’s increasingly online job market. Sometimes it is hard for students to know where to look for their next opportunity or how to craft a comprehensive professional resume. Never fear though, the Wayne State University School of Social Work is here to help!
Join our Wayne State Social Work Office of Admissions and Student Services (OASS) Thursday, December 18th for a special virtual Career Readiness Session. 5-7pm on Zoom, all WSU students are welcome to attend.
Our Career Readiness Session will feature two back-to-back presentations specifically tailored to prepare our social work graduates for success in their upcoming job search. Two helpful presentations, one RSVP and Zoom link!
Virtual event attendees will learn the following:
-
Resume writing and preparation
-
Tips for locating online positions
