💡 Invention Convention
The Invention Convention is a hands-on, project-based learning program where students in grades 3-12 use the invention process to solve real-world problems. Students learn to think critically, collaborate, build prototypes, and pitch their ideas- all while developing key 21st-century skills.
Each spring, Wayne County students can showcase their inventions at the regional competition at Wayne State University. Educators receive support throughout the year, including:
- Optional, grade-specific curriculum
- Hands-on STEM activity guidance
- Materials and tools for building prototypes
- Technical support for student pitch videos
Registration deadline
