How to Get Involved in Research

Curious about research but unsure how to take the first step? This student-led session is designed for students at any stage -- whether you’re just starting to explore research or already thinking about presenting your work.

Join us to learn how to:

  • Find research opportunities on and off campus

  • Turn class projects into posters, presentations, or conference-ready work

  • Understand what faculty look for in student researchers

  • Prepare for the Warrior Scholar Conference, including tips for submitting a strong application

You’ll leave with practical strategies, clear next steps, and the confidence to start your research journey.

Applications for the Warrior Scholar Conference are due March 13, 2026. Don’t miss this chance to showcase your work and build skills that stand out for grad school, scholarships, and your career.
