Objectives:
1. Review the data available on patients' expectations of seeing a psychiatrist in an ambulatory clinic.
2. Contrast this expectation with what psychiatrists expect from patients.
3. Critique various outpatient clinic models that are regularly used. (This will exclude group therapies, IOP, PHP, and any Interventional or hospital-based treatment.)
4. Review factors that influence "success" in the outpatient setting.
