Join Gilman Scholar Maryam Alzuhairi for an interactive session about studying abroad on the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship. This event will feature a presentation about Maryam's experience (plus an overview of the Gilman application process) and a fun game with giveaways. Designed to make study abroad more accessible - just like the Gilman Scholarship - this session will emphasize the achievability of study abroad for all! 

The U.S. Department of State’s Gilman Scholarship supports Pell Grant-eligible undergraduate students to study or intern abroad. Applications are accepted twice annually, with the next deadline coming up on March 5, 2026 (re: study abroad programs beginning between May 1, 2026 - April 30, 2027).
