Abstract

Generative AI is reshaping how we work, learn, and decide. Yet while it increases speed and fluency, it often reinforces shallow thinking—confident outputs without structured reasoning. In this seminar, I introduce AI² (Aristotelian Insight amplified by Artificial Intelligence), a framework for using generative AI not as a shortcut, but as a recursive thinking partner.

Rooted in the 2,500-year-old Aristotelian Insight Loop—Question, Model, Test, Teach, and Write—AI² provides a structured method for deep reasoning in the age of AI. When paired intentionally with generative tools, this loop accelerates insight, strengthens diagnostic reasoning, improves model application, and enhances executive-level judgment.

Drawing on classroom implementation data and professional applications, I will show how structured human–AI partnership can move faculty, students, and professionals beyond surface answers toward disciplined, falsifiable, and strategically grounded insight. The goal is not to outsource thinking to AI—but to amplify impact through hybrid intelligence.
