Honors College Iftar Dinner
This event is in the past.
6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The Irvin D. Reid Honors College is excited to host an Iftar in commemoration of Ramadan and Black History Month on Tuesday, March 3, 2026. Iftar is the evening meal shared at sunset to break the day’s fast during Ramadan, a time of reflection, faith, and community observed by millions around the world, including throughout Arab and African diasporas. We warmly invite Honors students to join Honors staff and faculty for an evening of connection, shared conversation, and community as we break fast together. Whether you observe Ramadan or would simply like to learn and celebrate in community, all are welcome. Please RSVP by February 27th.
Please plan to arrive between 6:00 - 6:15 PM.
(We will be serving Middle Eastern food that is often served during Ramadan. Featuring halal meat and chicken options, as well as vegetarian options. Iftar will be served at sunset for all present.).
